"I thought your course could prevent relationship mishaps and disasters for people of all ages, but especially how lucky will be the young ones who can best utilize this relationship knowledge to guide their wise choices. I have recommended this course to one's close to me and had this been offered at my children's high school/middle school, I'd have enrolled them in it. Keep up the fabulous work. I can't tell you how much sense your course made!!"- Toni D., Georgia

"Encouraging teens and young adults to look past physical/romantic attraction and to attune themselves to the emotional maturity of others is an important skill that they can apply to romantic and friendly relationships. I liked how you were able to help them quantify those big, nebulous concepts and visualize those concepts with a memory device."- Natalie M.(24) Gainesville, Florida

"I was out recently with my daughter (15 years) she made the most wonderful comment, and I couldn’t wait to get back in touch with you to let you know! We were standing in the checkout line at Target and just chatting as we waited. I’m not sure how we got on the subject of relationships, but I was joking with her about not being able to date until she was 30. She then mentioned that she learned most people are not mature enough to really understand and engage in serious relationships until they are around 25. I asked her where did she hear that and she said that was something she learned from attending the DEFL course. I was like, “WOW! So, you did gain important concepts from the course!” She said that she had, and that the course taught her to look at relationships in a different way. She said she had fun and was glad she went. Her being able to think about and make comments from what she gained long after the couse was over is very significant! Thanks for making such a large impact on my daughter’s life."-LBB (mom) Orlando, Florida
Hello Isabell, I came upon your site and I can think of several applications here in Portland OR. I have done some on-call work for an non profit that specialized in emotionally disturbed youth and am currently a case manager in community mental health. I see daily the damage that abusive relationships and interactions can have on the entirety of a persons life andDriver's Ed for Love is a very impressive course. The topics covered appear to be designed to inspire insight and give the individual a sense of control over the nature of not only their romantic relationships but their own emotional well being in every other relationship.
You have inspired me :)

"You did an amazing job and I feel that this project you created is exactly what our next generation needs!
Observing how you broke down "romantic attraction" and "emotional maturity" brought up a lot of stuff for me. I'm in a relationship where I now realize I do not have a significant level of attraction for him and experience him as being emotionally immature. I felt nauseous during the class by seeing this broken down so simply.
I do agree with you that we can emotionally mature, however, this man is 40 years old. I think I've been hanging in there, hoping he'll grow up, because he's the first man who has ever shown me love.
Since your class, I have been contemplating, meditating, praying and asking myself why I have settled.... again.
Thank you for your creation of Driver’s Ed For Love, I know those young people learned allot and know that it has helped me immensely."

"I want you to know how much I enjoyed your program on Friday. It was fantastic!!! You are so good at interacting with these kids, and I love how you rein them in, get them to think and maintain participation at such a high level. Wow!
I totally see how the program could translate to an adult audience. The message is simple and yet so effective. I love it!!"

"We offer driver's education to young adults becuase we know how dangerous cars can be. Yet, despite our society's high divorce rate, teen pregnancy, physical abuse, and more, we have no organized approach to helping young adults with RELATIONSHIP. Course founder and instructor Isabell is changing the paradigm. Through a novel, action packed workshop she is helping to impart the practical skills and knowledge needed to assess and attend to relationships--before they lead to heartache, violence or premature responsibility....Go Isabell go...!
